Over the past three years, I’ve been incredibly fortunate to receive six awards across four categories in The Landscape Awards, presented by Camera House. This prestigious competition celebrates the finest landscape photography across Australia and New Zealand, and it’s an honour to have my work recognised among such talented creatives.
In the 2025 Aerial category alone, over 2,500 entries were submitted. I was proud to have four of my photographs placed among the Top 20 Commended, a surreal and deeply rewarding milestone in my career.
But there’s one image that carries more weight than the rest.
One moment that demanded everything: vision, patience, precision and a 17,000 km journey.
A Dream Framed in Pastels
The image is called Eiffel Tower Sunrise. It was captured in Paris at dawn. Not during a golden hour, but in a delicate moment of lavender, violet, and early spring quiet that most people never get to see.
The light, the silence, the precision of the aerial framing. Everything came together in one of those rare moments where photography becomes something more.
It’s one of the most meaningful images I’ve ever created.
And this year, it was officially recognised in the 2025 Landscape Awards – Aerial Commended, judged by a panel of world-renowned photographers.
The Full Story (and the Shot)
The full story behind the image including the technical challenges, timing, and emotional weight of that moment is available on the product page, where you can also view and purchase the limited-edition print.
If you’re curious about the image that made it across the world and into the hearts of international judges, I’d love for you to experience it.
